Overall, loved the idea of people who can fly. The people who can fly having power over people who cannot is so true to what would happen in our society. The writing was good and enjoyable. A good read that I would recommend but would most likely not read again. Nothing really stuck out to me as exciting but it was fun to read. I loved the court lies and trickery. It took a bit of getting used to all the new names and words but was not too hard. Aderyn is a naive character at the start but slowly progress into a more enjoyable character. I didn't really have a favourite character they were all pretty well written. The plot was good- no major plot holes that I good spot which is always a good sign. Set up nicely for a second book so am excited to read that. Overall, the writing style was good and enjoyable and was quite easy to read. It was an enjoyable book just one that I most likely would not reread but would recommend
