This book was a wonderful and thrilling read and I will encourage anyone to read it !
Just before her 18th birthday, Aderyn's father passes away and she inherits the role of Protector of Atratys, a dominion in a kingdom where nobles can transform into bird. Aderyn is a swan but she is not able to transform, not since the death of her mother. In her search to find out who attacked her mother, Aderyn must go to the Citadel and risk her life - if they find out she cannot transform, she will be killed.
It is fantastic and magical read, the pacing is really good and the author paints the world wonderfully. I was sucked in from the moment I opened the page. The characters and plot were effortlessly created and intriguing and so I highly recommend reading!
