I loved this book! A beautiful story that has so much mystery and keeps you guessing. The setting really brings you into the tale and adds a bit of escapism.
There are very historical factual moments and a lot of emotional sides to the story with great characters and amazing development. I really enjoyed the history element of the book having always loved these types of tales. While it does keep you guessing it does make it hard to guess which I like as you don't know the outcome of the mystery/mysteries and want to carry on reading to find out.
This is the first book I have read of this particular author and cannot wait to read more, I love the historical aspect and the amazing stories with heartfelt characters to match. I recommend this book and author to anyone, great escapism that's exciting and keeps you constantly gripped throughout.
