I definitely found this book a completely surprising gem!! I really did not expect to like it as much as I did as I am not usually someone who enjoys mysteries but I found this one utterly enticing. I really enjoyed the dual setting, particularly the parts set in the Arctic circle but I really did also love the parts set in the highlands in Scotland too. The plot of this book tracks generational stories set in two different time periods which I found was done tastefully and masterfully. I felt that each and every character was moving and compelling throughout the story and the ending left me blown away. This author is clearly very talented and almost certainly someone to watch in the literary world!!!
