I was drawn to 'A Woman Made of Snow' by the cover which I thought was a lovely cover for a book. The book tells a story in dual timelines. In the later timeline Caro sets out to discover more information about her husband's mysterious missing ancestor. Alongside this the reader is told from the source about what happened in the past through the second timeline whilst Caro discovers it herself.

I found that I enjoyed this book as it gradually released new information to the reader, both through Caro and through the early timeline. I thought that the mystery was well thought out and new information was introduced to the reader at a good pace. I liked the writing style and enjoyed how at the start of the book you couldn't have guessed the end, though it became more obvious as the chapters went on.

Overall, I enjoyed this book which had a good story in a historical setting.
