From start to finish I loved this book and couldn't put it down.
The mysterious dead child in the cairn found years ago, and another body found more recently grabbed my attention. What kept it though, was the fact that Hanne, one of the main detectives on the case was suffering from dementia and relied on making notes to have any idea what was happening in the case, or even her day to day life. Along the way in the story, there were twists and turns, relationships and friendships, missing people and theories that I formulated in my head, but still I couldn't have guessed the ending. Devoured the book in two days because I just couldn't put it down without knowing the fate of the missing people and poor Hanne!
