First novel I have read by this author but won’t be my last . Loved the intricate characters and plot Malin the female detective brought onto the case for her local knowledge of the crime area is likeable and real . The plot is current with issues on immigration ,cross dressing and alzheimer disease . Hanne the psychological profiler struggles to hold on to her memory and there is prejudice against the refugees and Jake who lost his mum to cancer struggles with life and proving his dads innocence. There is lots of suspects to the crime which makes it all the more appealing and twists and turns in the plot to keep your mind occupied until the final pages . The book cover is eye catching and I would have definitely chosen this book from the shelves in my usual book store
