As the second E Lockhart book I have read (the first being we were liars) I did enjoy the characters throughout the book. The storyline was OK...it took a while to get used to the writing style it was written in. After a while it was something that did not seem weird. It did take me a while to get into the book but once I was gripped it was enjoyable. I think E Lockhart has a very unique (at least to me) writing style that I have not seen before. I thought there would be more to the story than there was. I will be looking into more of E Lockharts books as they are enjoyable, maybe not my favourite author or books but definitely ones I do not regret reading or the perfect type to read if you want a break from your typical genre. Due to how short the books are they are quite quick to read and perfect for a short in between type of book. I look forward to reading more by E Lockhart.
