The first book by E.Lockhart that I have ever read was We Were Liars which was a solid favourite book of mine for many years. So, when I heard that Lockhart had written a new book, Again, Again, I knew that I had to get my hands on it. I was so excited for this book that I read it within two days. It did not quite meet my love for We Were Liars but I still really liked it! This book deals really well with the complex themes of grief, acceptance, self discovery and forgiveness. Adelaide, the main character of Again Again, has to deal with the loss of her beloved brother to an overdose. In an attempt to cope, she throws herself into relationships and constantly ending up hurt. Throughout it all, this book is surprisingly funny and challenges you to wonder about the different “what if’s” in your life. I really really enjoyed this book and E.Lockhart’s writing never lets me down!
