In true E Lockhart style, Again, Again is written with multiple chopped up storylines that require much attention to be paid in order to follow the storyline. I myself don't enjoy this method of writing and therefore wouldn't regularly buy books written in this style. However, after a strong recommendation about how incredible the plot is I had to order and give it a go.

Adelaide has a difficult life and after her brother's near-death-experience from drug addiction, is trying to have a good summer. Things aren't that simple however.

The premise of the plot is a brilliant one, I see a lot of potential with the character backgrounds and futures as well as with the concept Lockhart is writing about. However, while We Were Liars was a success, I feel that Again, Again falls short of the high expectations we have from Lockhart and that it doesn't deliver to what it could have been.
