I have heard a lot of good things about this authors work from my friends, and have constantly been recommended to read "we were liars". unfortunately, i havent gotten round to reading it, but i have gained a glimpse into the authors work through this book instead, and i am certainly not at all dissapointed.
Firstly, the cover is very simply beautiful, which is my favourite style personally. I think it draw you in and interests you without being too overpowering.
In terms of the plot, this sort of storyline is the kind that i always enjoy reading. The focuses on mental health and the way it is explored through powerfully written characters in beautiful. Adelaide is a character i really want to know more about. That being said, overall i am extremely excited to continue reading this book and discovering where the story goes and what it reveals!
