It is 323 BC in Babylon and Alexander is dying. A new leader is being chosen by people in private. People need someone to take over, someone powerful and successful, for one of the most powerful and large empire in the world. Unfourtunaly, Alexander doesn't have an heir, and he also doesn't want to pick a new leader.
I loved this book, it taught me a lot of things about Alexander The Great, which I never knew before. I loved the illustrations of the maps in the book and the book cover. I loved the intense scenes and the great descriptions. The author really wrote a great, intriguing, story that I could not put down , though I had trouble pronouncing the names of the characters, but other than that I absolutely loved it.
