This book involves Lenny, and tells the story of her family coping with her father having cancer! However, it has a serious side to it, in Lenny's belief that she, herself, is the cause of her dad's terminal state.

This book felt as though it would be very relatable for younger readers, teenagers would relate to the characterisations and emotions throughout!

However, there were more problematic areas of this book, including that the author really didn't get too far into Lenny's destructive coping mechanisms, which was disappointing! This could have been the real lesson of this book and something which would have surely made this a more positive read!

This was a heartbreaking story, however, and although, overall, I was pretty disappointed, the overall story was good enough to finish! I do think it should be marketed to younger readers, and I would have probably gotten a lot more from this one!
