This book was miles more gripping, dark and shocking than I was expecting! The author is very talented in deceiving the reader and keeping them wanting more. I came to care for the characters in the book, and throughout was shocked with each twist and turn. It was very clever the way the book bounced between tenses and characters.
This book makes the reader think about religion, beliefs faith, evil, innocence in a refreshing new way. The writing is clear and very intelligent. In all honesty I was surprised this book was written by a man as it gets in the mind of a teenage girl very accurately!
I will definitely be reading this book again and be recommending it to my friends and family, it is incredible!
