A happy married couple, but their marriage is affected by the breakdown of the husbands business...he has to lay people off. People from the village. People he has known for yrs . People who are his and his wifes friends....
set in the beautifull english counrtyside. Theres plenty of infidelity and goings on thrown in as well. A very good drama in a book.
The characters were brilliant....
