Set in Manhatten, this is a modern day teenage/high school aged retelling of the classic Anna Karenina. I absolutely loved Anna Karenina because it wasn't your typical happily ever after classic - it was a whirlwind of never really knowing what was going to happen.
This first look of the retelling looks like it's going to be fabulous. I can't wait to read the rest of it. As a great author should do, I was gripped within the first two chapters and I want to know more. There's some characters that I'm already rooting for but it's been years since I read the original so I'm not immediately sure who's going to end up villain and who will win my heart.
It seems to be fast-paced and because it's the children of Manhatten's elite, it's going to have sparkle and wealth and I do love a good money doesn't buy everything tale.
