The lives of Georgia Pack and Julius Adebisi have turned upside down at the point where they meet each other in the Walter J Freeman Adolescent Mental Health Unit.

Georgia Pack doesn't consider herself to be anything special. But her life changes in the aftermath of her older sister's suicide. In an attempt to remember her sister and spend time with her sister's former boyfriend, Zac, she decides to join the Socialist Action Group. Which brings about a whole lot of trouble.

Meanwhile, Julius Adebisi is slowly realising the depths of power and corruption that run through his family and their affect on the town of Akure, Nigeria. Everything must be perfect in his family so that they can maintain such power. But Julius knows that it is only a matter of time before he is ostracized for being gay. But how much pain will be inflicted upon him by those who are supposed to love him?

Starting with their meeting in the mental health unit, Muchamore keeps you excited as you uncover the intracies of the decisions and actions made in the past by both characters that brought them together. This book powerfully explores topics of mental health, activism, sexuality and corrupt leadership. But more than that, it explores how no matter how hard it is, you have to keep trying to change the world.
