The cover says it all. The barbed wire, a classic symbol of the holocaust and the suffering it caused. The suitcase where a life had to packed into it and taken or sent to unknown destinations and the title Ashes - the human dust that so many became. As a total Holocaust fiction fan I know I am going to revel in this story.
