First of all the cover page really is beautiful and drew me in to read this book. I really enjoyed historical fiction, especially to do with either world war and therefore was really looking forward to this book. The storyline and character were really well developed I found. It was a little hard to get into, that's why I have only given it a four rather than a five. But once I had got through the first fifty/hundred pages I got completely into the characters story. I felt really drawn into the era and the relationship between the two main characters. I felt i could identify with them even though they were written in a different era. I enjoyed this book so much that I gifted it to my cousin as the story really resignated with me. It was written very well, and I would definitely look into buying and reading more books from this author. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.
