This book really hits me as I can relate to this in many situations. Firstly, the Muslim representation was amazing in this book. It’s hard to find any books with Muslim representation, but this novel really brought out another side of books that I haven’t seen before. I also loved the whole idea of new generation vs the old generation. It shows how society has grown up with the people along with it.

I think we need a moment in silence for Clara and Ayesha’s friendship. It was so well developed and it was so pure.

I loved how Khalid and Ayesha were pretty much opposites. Khalid being part of the ‘old generation’ and Ayesha being part of the ‘new generation’. I love how both of them were trying to find where they belong, and them being complete opposites just made this book 10 times better.
Overall, I have this book 4 stars for the well written characters and their descriptions.
