This book had an amazing storyline and I couldn’t wait to read it. It was recommended to me by a friend and I’m very glad it was. The story sees a girl called Naomi, blind from birth, struggling with her life. She stumbles across a crime scene, senses the killer is there but they let her leave unharmed. Throughout the story you follow the thoughts and feelings of Naomi as she aids the police investigation but also tries to work out why the killer left her. I really felt for the character of Naomi and she was written so well. As a fan of thrillers I thought this level of empathy for the character made the other parts of the plot more surprising. As this is set in a small town Naomi starts to realise her life is in danger as the killer must be close by and seeing her trying to work it out. I think this is a must read for any thriller fans and I have since recommended it to others myself.
