Before Her Eyes is the first book that I have read by Jack Jordan and I felt that it was a bit of a mixed bag.
The story is a police procedural where the main witness to a murder is blind. There then follows a number if twists and turns as the story progresses until the final twist which I found just too much.
I also really struggled to engage with any of the main characters except for Naomi with the two main police officers bring both annoying and fairly unrealistic. The writing style at times also felt plodding. How many times can a character clinch their fists?
The précis of the book was good be sounded interesting but in the end it just didn't deliver fully for me which was a shame.
