I absolutely loved the way the book was written from the start, and this along with the 'blind woman witnesses murder' really drew me in. I found it to be a bit of a slow burner in parts, but the story picked up and never slowed down further on. Very vividly written, you can't help but imagine every disturbing sound, touch and smell. Very interesting story line which seemed a little predictable in parts, only to throw in a few rollercoaster twists along the way. I liked the different perspecives for the most part, but sometimes the chapters seemed too frequently split without good reason. This didn't detract from the story, it was just a little odd. Generally a great read, slightly gruesome but very entertaining.
