What a way to make an impression. The opening few chapters had me hooked. I was drawn in by both the voice of Alfie, and of Julie, really intrigued to find out why Julia left in such a hurry at the end of the chapter.
Love the cover, so simple and yet really draws you in. The concept of the book sounds brilliant, I love books with a gothic, horror edge and I feel this will certainly deliver.
