Bizarre!
This is possibly the weirdest book I've ever read. The story is intriguing and difficult to put down, and at the same time the story is just so weird I wasn't ever able to fully suspend my disbelief. The enigma of Black Mamba is a confusing one - is never very clear of he's made up or not, and where he originates. I suppose the author wants to leave a lot for the reader to think about, but I'm not sure if enough questions were answered to be satisfying.
The book is a mixture of thriller, suspense, ghost and supernatural, not a mix I had come across before.
It's well written and two characters tell the story to give a different perspective which I always enjoy in a novel.
All above said, I think I did enjoy reading it and I certainly don't expect to read a book quite like it ever again! And I love it when a book can be challenging and not easy or predictable.
