I have throughly enjoyed reading this book from start to finish, Alfie is a single dad of two twin daughters cassia and sylvie he is finding it hard to cope by himself after the sudden and unexpected death of his partner pippa, but luckily her twin sister Julia is on hand to give him a helping hand. One night the girls come into Alfie’s room and say that there is a man in their room, but when Alfie goes to check there is no one there, so he settles the girls back down , but from there on the story gets dark as the months go on, at first Julia thinks that it is just the girls imagination working over time to cope with the death of there mother, but things start happening that just can’t be explained, was a little disappointed in the ending was hoping for a happy outcome but you don’t get that , was also a little confused by the fact that Julia doesn’t pick up on the fact that it’s not really Alfie at the end
