After seeing the cover and reading the blurb I decided to use my points to get it, now I'm not sure if I should have done.
Pippa had died and Alfie was left alone to bring up their twin daughters. One night they went into his bedroom saying there was a man by their bed. Alfie searched the house but couldn't see anyone or anything disturbed so he took the girls back to bed thinking they had just had a nightmare.
After that night the girls started talking about Black Mamba and places he would take them to but it all started to feel more than just an imaginary friend so Alfie called Penny's twin sister, Julia, she is a psychotherapist.
This is where I started to feel lost, there was obviously a big back story to Julia but every time you felt like you would find it out, it went on to something different and I found that happened a lot, just waiting for something.
I finished the book but still not exactly sure what it was all about.
