Cassie, an independent outspoken punk, lives with her grandmother as her parents died when she was young. Her science teacher Geraldine Edwards had a great influence over her and Cassie is astounded when she is brought in dead and speaks to her while Cassie is doing her mortuary duties which sets her off investigating the events which led to her death.
This is a well written book with an engaging different main character. I am so glad to think that this seems to be the first in a series to which I’m looking forward to reading more of.
I have no hesitation in recommending this book to anyone who enjoys suspense thrillers or medical dramas. The psychic elements are quite believable and not excessive.
