This is a more than worthy follow up to the first Paige Turner book with the same sparkling wit and enthusiasm but this time transported to a literature festival. It’s always been my dream to visit a literature festival so it was great to live that vicariously through Paige and co.
I finished this book even quicker than I finished the first one because I literally could not put it down and it’s the perfect length to take in a handbag for a long weekend or a train journey.
I found the plot dragged a little towards the middle but the characters are engaging enough that you wanted to persevere and keep going to the very satisfying end of the story. I hope there will be more Paige Turner stories to come in the future.
