First of all, I have to mention this beautifully bright cover. It pairs perfectly with the debut book, using similar colours and a similar layout. All of these illustrations were also done by Chloe herself. I love it when the author is also the illustrator, especially when they are as talented as Chloe.

Just like in her first book, Chloe's writing is very humorous and had me laughing out loud on several occasions. There are so many funny moments that showcase Chloe's true talent for comedic writing. It really was a joy to read, even with the cringey moments in there.

It was great to read more about characters that had already been introduced in the previous book, building on their personalities and following them through another book-related adventure. I enjoyed where this book took place, it was a nice setting to read about at the end of the summer.

I'm not going to say too much more about it because I don't want to end up spoiling anything if you haven't yet read the first book.

I enjoyed this book so much. A book about books is just what you need sometimes and when I picked this up it was exactly the kind of book I needed to read. I definitely recommend this for a funny, enjoyable read, but obviously make sure that you read Bookshop Girl first.

I'm also excited that there's a little announcement on the last page to let you know that there will be a third book coming soon. I can't wait to see what happens with Paige next, especially as it says it will be set in Paris!
