I was delighted to see there was a second installment in the bookshop girl series and it certainly didn't disappoint! I read the book in a couple of hours on a flight from Crete. The author maintained the cheeky, slightly grumpy teenager vibe all through the book. The storyline is really fun and perfectly suited to the theme of the book - a book festival with a new romance on the cards! My favourite part of the book was the 'diva' author Minnie! She was witty, hilariously cheeky and loveable when she needed to help our heroine Paige! The only fault I could pick with the book was the recycled 'dance' part. I found it too similar to the first book and thought it could have been omitted or replaced with some other romantic activity! Overall a very sweet, realistic and funny portrayal of teen life! I'm looking forward to reading the next installment and passing the books onto my niece in a few years!
