Nothing much to dislike about this book in my personal opinion and a great deal more to enjoy within this beautifully written biography.

I can think if very few other books , especially in terms of the biography genre, that have ever been so quickly charming and oddly amusing to me as this book was when I first read it on a cold afternoon hoping to brighten my day up a little bit with some stories of our four legged friends.

The setting, the era, the writing style that has been chosen, the stories placed within, it is just a lovely little read with the right balance of amusement, worrying moments and such as to make sure that it doesn't become too bland or predictable towards the end of the book.

I'd highly recommend it to any lover of animals as it follows the ups and downs that will always be a firm part of mankind's relationship with the animals that share our homes.
