An interesting and enjoyable read, not something I would usually read. As a Brit, it was interesting to read from an outsiders perspective of someone observing my home country and all its quirks.
Call The Vet is a memoir set in the nineteen seventies about a young Canadian vet living and working in Knightsbridge, London. Call The Vet by Bruce Fogle is an interesting read, especially as someone who wasn’t alive yet in the nineteen seventies. It is easy to forget how much the world has changed in fifty years.
I really enjoyed how the author brought the characters, both human and animal to life as well as his description of locations.
The book was entertaining and overall a good read.
The book also has a great cover, which suits the book very well.
