I am a huge animal lover and have a dog myself so I was very intrigued by this book as the cover art caught my attention.
The author is fun and quirky and I loved learning about life in London as a young vet in the 70’s and found it interesting how much has changed since then.
This book was funny and kept me hooked throughout, I’m not the biggest fan of memoirs but I found this book was really easy to read and also very informative.
This book really highlights how important the bond with our pets is and does a great job of making this the central theme of the book, having a dog myself I really found myself connecting with this.
