I really enjoyed this book, having worked in a vets practice myself it was nice to hear other stories.
What I found most interesting about one of his stories was when he visited Harrod’s and the animals they used to sell and how they transported puppies for selling as this was something I had never read/heard about before but as it’s the 70s it’s vastly different from what we know now about importing animals.
I would have liked more practice/surgery stories than the life story but overall I really enjoyed this and found it informative.
I really hope that the author writes another book about practice life as his writing style has you hooked in and is a delight to read.
I would recommend this book to a non fiction fan or anyone who has an interest in animals as it is a really interesting read and shows how advance veterinary medicine has changed.
