The novel being based on a real life tale humanises the story and makes you feel like you are with Bruce Fogle as the story goes along and allows you to immerse yourself in the tales and anecdotal stories as they come along.
Having grown up with Ben Fogle and enjoying all his adventures and broadcasting I knew that his father would have written an amazing book. I really hope that he will write more books as this was definitely a great read.
