Absolutely brilliant, it was an excellent third installment of the Spellslinger trilogy, great plot, lots of action a real page turner. I am really hoping for a fourth and fith and more, he has hit on a formula that could see many Spellslinger books.
The agosi really came alive in this book, you started to understand their motivations and purpose, adding on to the previous 2 novels adding to the plot.
The plot was excellent, tiring in other characters from the previous books into and enthralling journey of excitement and wonder. The way the characteristics come alive is one aspect of Sebastian DeCastell's skill as an author. I am a massive fan of the Greatcoats, he has managed to build credible and believable characters. Read all three of these books, you won't be disappointed.
