This book sounds amazing. Set in WW2, we see character Elizabeth de Mornay fleeing Paris being chased by the Gedtapo. She's at huge risk and the stakes have never been higher! The playing with identity here is intriguing, I'm excited to see how that plays out in the rest of the novel. This sounds like one to watch this summer, that's for sure. Great first extract!
