I really enjoyed reading this book and thought it was a great spy thriller. I would definitely recommend reading this book.
Additionally, I liked the character list at the front of the book and thought this was a great idea. This gave brief details on the characters mentioned. Although, I did think there were too many characters, so I occasionally felt lost. Hence why I decided to give this book 4 stars.
The book follows the SOE agent Elisabeth de Mornay who is forced to flee France when she is uncovered by the Gestapo. She ends up in Lisbon, to obtain details of the German’s actions against Allied shipping. I loved the female spy, and how the book is set in Portugal, which was a neutral country during WW2.
