This was a beautiful story about two sisters who are trying to understand how to process the loss of a father and the discovery of a sister. There were so many emotions being juggled in this work that at times it was quiet overwhelming and I had to physically put the book down.

The two main characters are so different yet manage to form a relationship even in the most difficult of times. However, they had an undeniable chemistry.

Clap when you land is a captivating story told through beautiful, lyrical writing.
There is fantastic representation, including LGBTQIA+ rep, and a wonderful examination of what it means to belong to two worlds. This is something I really see in book and it was really appropriated.

I’ve reread this book like 10000000 times since it has come out and I don’t think I will ever stop. Every time I read this book I recognise something new and interesting.
