This is my first book from Colleen Oakley, and it's not going to be the last! The Feelings I got after reading Close Enough to Touch can't be explained to you. this book is epic, heartwarming, and awesome. In a feel-good novel with well-developed, but slightly flawed complex characters, a thought out plot, and just pure adorableness all around, it had everything I looked for.

I love Jubilee's and Eric's interaction. It's kind of awkward and very adorable. Jubilee is trying to be in the real world on her own for the first time and she doesn't know how to respond to Eric. Eric is a single dad who tries to survive on a daily basis, but there's something about Jubilee that makes him want to get to know her.
This isn't a love story about sudden desire, but it's a true romance story with a slow burn.

This was an exceptional read! I liked this novel very much. It was such a lovely and fast read! Of course, considering my teeny library obsession, it did not hurt that a lot of the story was based in a library.
