Honestly, it did take me a while to get into the book, but I think that's because I'm really not used to reading a genre like this.

However after a couple of chapters, I realised, I couldn't leave it alone because I needed to know what was going to happen - was Jubilee ever going to find love (it had to be Eric, obviously because you knew their worlds were going to meet)? & if she did, how was it going to happen?

Her story is obviously so rare & so sad because she's missed out on a lot within 9 years - but then it was so lovely for Madison to befriend her & try to make up the things that she missed.

When she met Eric, I just couldn't wait for them to build a relationship however it frustrated me that they couldn't get closer & every time they tried - they got interrupted. It's annoying when you read through both of their chapters, knowing that they're thinking the same thing but they're not telling each other. That's when you want to rush to read & finish the book, to see if they do end up together.

I got to the part of the story where Ellie was hospitalised & Jubilee found out that Eric was only living away temporarily so she knew they couldn't go further - which was so sad because I'm now hoping she will just move to New Hampshire to be with Eric & Aja.

Aja has a totally different story that does frustrate you because he's stubborn & wont talk but then does make you feel warm when he builds a relationship with Jubilee. His background is so upsetting especially as he is so young to lose both parents but throughout the book, you just long for him to open up to Eric.

Although it took me a while to get into the book, after that, I couldn't put it down. I thought about so many questions while reading, & I wanted them all to be right.

I did not see the twist of Madison making the bet & how Donavan pretty much fired Louise! Did not see that coming. But I was glad to see that Jubilee forgave her & had a budding friendship.

Awwwww, very very mixed emotions during the epilogue! 7 years?! 7 years without Eric, & then for her to maybe have started a new relationship with Michael & even though that was sweet, I couldn't help feel relieved & buzzing that she then saw Eric in the street!! & they kissed - I just really hope that their relationship continued & they eventually had their happily ever after!
