This first impression was easy to read, and you were drawn into the story straight away. Selena seems like a character that you want everything to work out for, but I'm not sure it will judging by the blurb. Martha/Anne has a dark mysteriousness about her that makes you wary of her. I'd quite happily read on to see whether my character judgements play out.
