Saffron is an SOE operative and when her mission goes awry she is left at the mercy of the Germans. Saffron is however in love with a German but the man she loves has a brother who is an officer in the SS. Will this affect her chances of survival and will she be able to escape and to return to Britain to continue her war work. Will her childhood being raised in the veldts of Africa give her the strength to endure and to succeed?
