Improved as I read it but I have a few qualms
Ok so my impression of the first few pages was far from great.
I litterally thought oh god another romance novel about lovers separated by the divides of war.
It did not get off to the best of starts.
Then all of a sudden a time jump and I'm reading about espionage mission in Northern Europe and attempts to blow up a train. Immediately refocused me and drastically improved my opinion(nicely done)
What continues is a fast paced 17 pages of action and suspense as one of the two characters we're introduced to in the first few pages pulls off a daring sabotage in occupied territory before getting caught.
I was disappointed to have reached the end of this first impression and , whilst I have my slight doubts at the 2 very different story elements presented in the opening pages, this could be great if the tale continues with the emphasis's on the right elements of the snapshot presented here.
