The author was obsessed with writing about how beautiful this couple were and how we should all fall in love with them because they were so stunning. They then try to suggest that they are such a wonderful couple and yet one of them left his soon-to-be fiance for this woman, and she broke her best friend's heart by breaking the couple up. while the saying goes 'all's fair in love and war' - she obviously has no idea how to be a good friend. I though the characters seemed cold, vapid and cruel. Not the kind of people I would want anything to do with, let alone to read an entire book about.
