I have picked this book up about 3 times and each time I get a bit further but I can't seem to get past the first quarter of the book, which is a shame.
The plot looks good and is different having the setting on a golf course, but then it seems to jump about a bit. Maybe if I actually finished the book I could understand why and where the story is actually going. Although this is the kind of story I like for a crime thriller on this occasion it's not one that i could actually finish.
The descriptive information in the book is good and sets the scene well, the main character Inspector Eschenbach seems very strong and has his clear methods from what I could work out, unfortunately this book just doesn't seem to hold my attention.
It's a shame as I really wanted to read this one from the initial blurb.
