Firstly, I read this book knowing that I found Maestra to be overrated and ultimately disappointing. However, as all books are different, I decided to try this after reading the first look and finding it intriguing.

The concept of this book is peculiar. Judith Rashleigh is pretending to be Elizabeth; an art dealer. But it's not as simple as that, not only does the book talk about art and galleries, it also has very detailed and at times vulgar sex scenes. The sex scenes are what put me off this book. I am in no way a prude, but they just seem very unnecessary. Judith has the ability to be such a great, strong character but it seems like the sex scenes are a filler to give her a sexy edge, when in reality a strong female who takes no rubbish from any man, is sexy enough.

Being honest, I did not finish this book. I gave up half way as I found it to be draining picking it up. If you enjoyed Maestra then you'll enjoy this. Unfortunately I enjoyed neither.
