There have been a lot of books recently about twins and I have to admit I've read a lot of them. This one is about non identical twins Robin and Sarah. They have a lovely childhood in Berkshire which is disrupted by their parents splitting up and remarrying the parents of a school friend. Things change dramatically for them. The book switches between their childhood and now. They both have major issues going on. Robin is agoraphobic, not leaving her house and spending her time watching the people in the flat opposite. Sarah has been forced from the life she is living and sets about tracking down Robin from whom she has been estranged for quite a while. She asks her stepmother for the address but she says she doesn't have it other than she is in Manchester.
