This book really reminded me of I am Pilgrim which completely blew me away!

This is the follow up to Nomad where we were introduced to Marc Dane working for MI6. Following the events from Nomad where he was betrayed and left as the only man standing, he is slightly less trusting of all around him.

Literally in Exile, we follow Dane who is investigating nuclear waste movement in Croatia and when he uncovers something that doesn’t add up, he finds that it is up to him to uncover what is actually going on. He once again turns to the mysterious Rubicon Group for help.

This is an excellent follow up and is just as fast paced as Nomad. The action in the book keeps you completely enthralled and promises many a late night as you race to its conclusion. The action sequences are excellent and I found myself holding my breath during some chapters!

I love reading a good action book a la Mission Impossible and James Bond-esque so this was absolutely perfect for me. (The author is a former writer for television and I can just imagine this on the screen).

I’m already eagerly awaiting the next book in this excellent series!
